Dirt Candy, New York. - @DirtCandyNYC

Based in New York’s Lower East Side, Dirt Candy (“because vegetables are just candy from the dirt”) aims and succeeds to make vegetables taste better than you’ve ever experienced - or seen. Continuing to spread the plant-based love is West Hollywood’s Gracias Madre. The colourful modern Mexican menu with ingredients sourced from locally grown organic produce features stunners such as Grilled Cauliflower Mole, Jackfruit Carnitas Tacos and Enchiladas Verdes with soy chorizo.

Mildreds, London - @MildredsRestaurants

Having served up plant-based deliciousness in London for 30 years, game-changer Mildreds has expanded from its site in the heart of Soho, opening four new premises across the capital. It is not only worth a look in for its delicious classic dishes, such as mushroom pie, Indian curry and lentil burger with fries; but the atmosphere is bustling.

Forever Vegano, Mexico City, Mexico. - @ForeverPlantBased

Upon entering Mexico City’s Forever Vegano through its gothic facade, you feel like you’ve been transported into a haven. The plant theme, both real and boldly painted on the walls, doesn’t stop there. The menu is, of course, also 100% plant-based. Some of the cutting edge dishes worth a try are the sashimi de sandía-tuna, that’s watermelon-prickly pear sashimi to us; and the flores tempura, which is made from flowers.

Aiyanna, Ibiza - @IbizaAiyanna

Even if you’re not a vegan or vegetarian, its good to have good plant-based options when you’re on your away on your vacay. And the party island of Ibiza has many good options peppered around - but mainly in the quieter inland areas. However, Aiyanna, located on the sea-front, is definitely worth a try for its healthy, homemade cuisine and chilled-out beach vibes.
