Possibly our most requested flavour of all time? We've gone and made our most indulgent protein bar yet. A biscuit-y base, with our gooiest chocolate caramel ever and a sprinkle of vegan mini marshmallows (!!). A work of art. We handed out over 2000 samples ahead of the launch and asked customers to rate the bar based on taste, it was rated 8.7 out of 10.

I was skeptical about these tasting good because there is only 1g of sugar and it’s a protein chocolate bar…but I was happily surprised—they’re delicious! I would highly recommend!

Best Bars

I was so delighted with the taste/texture/ costumer service of Misfits Bars. I love that they are plan based and the low surgar made them extra delicious. I dislike the super sugary protein bars. I tried all 4 flavors and I liked them all equally. I have shared them with my running friends and they all really love Misfit Bars too. Thanks for making a great protein bar that's packed with plant based protein.

The Yummiest Protein Bars Out There

I'm a fan of having access to some quick protein, but I hate the typical texture and taste of protein bars. Misfits bars are phenomenal in that they don't have that texture / taste and are so yummy and pleasant to eat. Highly recommend!

Crucially, we’ve found a way to reduce the sugar content without impacting taste. And a lot comes down to the way we assemble our bars in three incredible layers: a crumbly base, a gooey centre and a rich chocolate topping.

ARE MISFITS PROTEIN BARS NUT-FREE?

All of our protein bars contain peanuts or almonds and are made in a facility that handles peanuts and a range of other nuts. Our bars are not suitable for anyone suffering from a tree nut or peanut allergy. Whilst we want to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy our bars, we are not currently able to offer a bar that would be suitable and safe for nut allergy sufferers due to the possible risk of cross contamination.

IS YOUR PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?

You can recycle our boxes (both the card Misfits box the bars come in and the shipping boxes) at home in your mixed or paper recycling.

 

Our bar wrappers are currently made from OPP plastic, which can be recycled with plastic bags at large supermarkets or other collection points. The shrinkwrap around the outside of our boxes can also be recycled in this way. You can use this link to check your nearest local drop off point for recycling these materials.

DO MISFITS BARS HAVE ADDED SUGAR IN?

All of our bars are naturally sweetened with Steviol Glycosides, a natural plant-based sweetener derived from the sweet leaf of the Stevia plant. We use a small amount of xylitol in our vegan milk and dark chocolate coatings in place of regular sugar, this allows us to maintain a low sugar content and also provides less calories than sugar. Xylitol has a very similar taste profile to sugar, and unlike high intensity sweeteners (which are used in a very small, concentrated amount) it also replaces the structure that sugar would add to a chocolate coating.

Are Misfits bars healthy?

Whilst everyone’s definition of healthy varies, our delicious bars are high in protein, low in sugar and around 200 kcal per bar and we think that makes them a great snack choice.
